NOTICE OF A PUBLIC MEETING

CONCERNING A PROPOSED ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENT

(BEAL / WELSH)

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of The Archipelago deemed the following application to amend the Comprehensive Zoning By-law No. A2000-07, as amended, a complete application under Subsection 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P. 13, as amended.

AND TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of The Archipelago will hold a public meeting to consider a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P. 13, as amended.

THE PURPOSE
of proposed Zoning By-law Amendment No. Z05-17, is to rezone Part 3 on Plan 42R-13310, being parcel 26041 PSSS, in the geographic Township of Shawanaga, from the ‘Coastal/Island Residential/Divided (CR/D)’ Zone to the site specific ‘Coastal/Island Residential/Divided Exception ## (CR/D-##)’ Zone.

THE EFFECT of proposed Zoning By-law Amendment No. Z05-17, would be the construction of a 181 square metre (1948 square feet) main dwelling, as well as the preservation of the existing 111.3 square metre (1198 square feet) log cabin, at its current size, for use as a sleeping cabin.

IF YOU WISH to be notified of the decision of the Council for the Corporation of the Township of The Archipelago on the proposed zoning by-law amendment, you must make a written request to the Corporation of the Township of The Archipelago.

IF A PERSON OR PUBLIC BODY does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Corporation of the Township of The Archipelago before the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Corporation of the Township of The Archipelago to the Ontario Municipal Board.

IF A PERSON OR PUBLIC BODY does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Corporation of the Township of The Archipelago before the by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
