Fish on the Moon: The Moon River and area fish community

Arunas has been involved with fish community monitoring in Lake Huron including Georgian Bay and the North Channel for over 30 years as a biologist with the Ministry of Natural Resources. Sampling fish in such a large area poses challenges but also provides opportunities for gaining insights into their unique diversity and distribution. Recent surveys conducted in the Moon River area of Georgian Bay provide a case study of the amazing fish community that resides here and the challenges they face in an ever changing lake ecology.
