Public Input - Community Wildland Fire Protection Plan

The Township of The Archipelago has received funding from the Ministry of Natural Resources to develop the community’s first Wildland Fire Protection Plan. As part of this work, a Ministry-trained contractor is preparing the plan. In addition, forest hazard mapping will be completed to identify areas of increased wildland fire risk in accordance with Ministry standards.

Residents are encouraged to provide input by completing the public survey, open from May 1 to June 19, 2026. Your feedback will help inform the development of the plan and support a safer, more prepared community.
